Cynthia and Caroline are kulturweit trainees from Nairobi. They arrived in Bremen on 30 September 26. Prior to that, they had spent a week in Berlin with all the other kulturweit volunteers on a preparatory seminar. Both are qualified German teachers. They are therefore looking forward to observing lessons at the Gesamtschule Mitte in Bremen. Their stay in Bremen ends on 15 November 26.
The sad news is that this work experience programme is coming to an end this year. The ‘kulturweit’ programme will no longer receive funding from the German Foreign Office. We are very sad about this.
