On 11 September 26, the Gesamtschule Mitte celebrated its designation as a recognised UNESCO project school with a grand celebration. Our association has played no small part in this. We support the development and strengthening of partnerships with African countries, particularly Kenya. Peter Ndolo travelled from Nairobi to Bremen to attend the celebration.
The ceremony opened with a panel discussion featuring the Mayor of Bremen, Dr Andreas Bovenschulte, Klaus Schilling (Federal Co-ordinator of German UNESCO Project Schools), Bianca Gustafson (State Co-ordinator of Bremen’s UNESCO Project Schools) and Mohamed Mwinyi Mwalamba from PüG.
