Following the successful initial trip in 2025, this year we will have a three-week exchange trip by St. Antony Dago Kokore Secondary School from Kisumu, Kenya, to GSM in Bremen. Ten students and two teachers will be guests of GSM students and teachers from 2nd of April to 24th of April. Last year, the students from both countries agreed on SDG 5 as their theme. Since then, they have been working together in Kenya and Germany on a newspaper about gender (in)equality.
During the meeting, we will identify places in Bremen that are taboo for women and draw attention to them using artistic means. We will be working together with Bremen’s women’s representative, the artist Edeltraud Rath, Makemedia Studios in Department 10 of the Senator for Children and Education and the Theaterwerk Albstedt.
